We have to share this homemade dessert from Super Sweet Life! It’s just a perfect, extra sweet way to show someone you care this Valentines Day! We are in love with anything red velvet, and the dark chocolate mousse combined with the chocolate pudding is just the cherry on top. xoxo, Kristine This Saturday, Andrea and Chris will be saying their “I Do’s” at Ponte Winery in Temecula. After (almost) a 2-year engagement – their wedding is days away!!! Andrea contacted me soon after I re-started Jordan Event Studio. She knew my sister, and I knew hers – but she and I had never crossed paths until our consultation. She enlisted my help, and after a change of heart in their original venue and a delay in their wedding date, our couple will finally be tying the knot!
We helped style Andrea and Chris’ engagement shoot back in November. We started with a Pinterest inspiration board (click here), and ended up with a shoot filled with personal touches, a color palette complimenting their winery wedding, and a couple beaming every time they looked at each other. Kristine is our style-guru! She picked our couple’s brain on their likes and dislikes, what they enjoyed doing together, etc. The process doesn’t have to be laborious, but the little effort it took planning for the shoot paid off. Adding personal touches near and dear to their hearts made the photos all the more special.

Not only does someone celebrate a birthday (me!), it’s also a month filled with celebrations of love! What makes this month even sweeter this year is the addition of our new intern, Brittany! We met Brittany in May when she shadowed us at an event, and we knew then that she would be a perfect fit to our teeni-tiny team. She jumped right in, needed little direction, and helped us execute a flawless event. Her professional demeanor and sweet personality is just the icing on the cake.
Finally, Brittany’s college and life schedule have slowed down enough for her to jump on board to help JES this year. Not only will Brittany help us at our events, she will also help us blog and keep our fans updated on the social media circle. We asked Brittany to tell us a little bit about herself, and here’s what she had to say: Give us a quick intro: Ciao! My name is Brittany, and I am ecstatic to join the JES team. I am currently a senior at Chapman University, earning my degree in public relations and advertising with a minor in psychology. I am looking forward to graduating this coming May and beginning the next chapter of my life. What do you look forward to the most working with JES? I have a passion for events. I enjoy the details, the creativity and the opportunity to be a part of someone’s life, even for just a moment. Weddings signify the beginning of a new chapter, and is one of the most joyous occasions in a couple’s life. The hopeless romantic in me can’t help but be drawn to helping make that perfect dream become a lifetime reality. What do you do on your free time? In my free time I craft, cook, watch movies or have dance parties with my roommates—life is sweeter when filled with laughter. Share one of your mantras: I believe in the power of constantly trying to maintain a positive mindset, even during the most stressful times. That personal belief also ties into my desire to work in events; I want to carry the stressful load so the client doesn’t have to and can enjoy the fruits of their vision.
